12. Dezember – noch 12 Tage bis Weihnachten…
Stress könnte das bedeuten. Doch nicht heute im Hause kemper, heute ist entspannter “Schlumpftag” – am Montag kann es wieder losgehen.
Von dieser Stimmung sind auch meine heutigen 12 von 12 geprägt:
12. December – until 12 days til christmas…
this could mean stress. But not at kemper home today, today is a relaxed “lazyday” (in germany we say ‘Schlumpf’ (Smurf) to a lazy person) – on monday everything could start again.
Driven by this mood my todays 12 of 12 are coined:
Der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm?
Hier gibt es scheinbar auch um 10h morgens noch genügend Leckereien :-)
The early bird catches the worm?
Apparently there are delicious worms still left at 10 in the morning :-)
Und sollte sich tatsächlich heute ein wenig Sonne zeigen? Das wäre ja mal schön!
And will there actually be a little bit of sun today? That would be really nice!
Manchmal lohnt es sich sein Brot genauer anzusehen – heute war es ein Scotch Terrier ;-)
Sometimes it pays off to take a closer look at your breakfast – today it was a scotch terrier ;-)
Morgendliche Fotospielereien (die Jugendlichkeit ist endlich…)
Playing around with the camera in the mornig (youth is not forever…)
Kerzen strahlen immer eine gewisse Andacht aus – auch ausserhalb der Adventszeit haben wir immer eine Kerze auf dem Tisch…
Candles always radiate a little bit meditation out – even beyond Advent season we always have a candle on the table…
…doch mit diesem darüber, wird es gleich weihnachtlich
…but with this guy above, it will bring out the right christmas feelings
Trotz aller Gemütlichkeit führte mein Weg mich heute kurz in die Stadt – zu meinem favorisiertem hiesigem Stoffgeschäft,
Beside all cosiness my way took me into town – to my favorite local fabricstore,
auf den Wochenmarkt (ein Bild hiervon gab es schon letzten Monat :-)) und in Richtung Innenstadt
to the farmer´s market (a picture therefrom was shown last month :-)) and in direction to the city center
außen herum, vorbei an schönen Geschäften –
took the way around, passing nice stores -
vielleicht steht ja auch irgendwann “kemper” in Kleinbuchstaben mitdabei?
maybe someday there is “kemper” in lower case letters to read?
Wieder zu Hause wurde ein Teil des Nachmittages gemütlich auf dem Sofa lesend verbracht (mehr zu diesem Buch nächste Woche),
Back home again I spent a part of the afternoon on the sofa by reading (more about the book next week),
mit Tee und leckeren Haferkeksen (vielmehr haben wir noch nicht geschafft zu backen…)
with tea and oatcookies (in fact we didn’t manage to bake more till now…)
Wie gesagt, der heutige Tag war ein entspannter und wird es hoffentlich auch noch bleiben :-)
As I said, today was a cosy day and hopefully it will be stay so :-)
